Delete your account

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open Mirror Mindset and go to You → Account & settings → Delete my account (on the classic look: More → Plan & Account → Delete my account). You'll confirm once, and the account and its data are removed immediately. This is the fastest way, and it works for an account a parent manages on a child's behalf.

Prefer we handle it, or can't get into the app? Email us from the address on the account — or, for a child's account, from the parent or guardian's address — with the subject "Delete my account." We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, usually much sooner.

What gets deleted

Everything tied to the account is removed from our systems:

• Your account and sign-in credentials
• Journal entries and AI coaching reflections
• Check-ins, streaks, program answers, and identity statements
• Team and family links, and your entries in any team roster
• Notification registrations for your devices

What may remain briefly

Encrypted backups clear on their normal cycle (within 90 days). Records we are required to keep by law — for example, payment and tax records for a past subscription — are retained as the law requires and are never used to rebuild your profile. Messages you posted in a team chat clear automatically about a week after they were sent.

Deleting only some data

You don't have to delete your whole account. You can delete individual journal entries in the app, disconnect a team or family link at any time, or email us to remove a specific set of data while keeping the account.
